Terms of service
Effective 29 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Centers. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming that you may bind that company.
Who you are contracting with
Centers is operated by Invisible Admin LLC ("we", "us"), an Illinois limited liability company. You can reach us at info@usecenters.com.
What the service is
Centers is a scheduling product. You define recurring windows of time, you keep a list of work, and Centers places that work into those windows. Where you connect a Google Calendar, Centers reads it to know when you are already busy. We may change, add or remove features; if a change materially reduces what you are paying for, we will tell you before it takes effect.
Your account
You must be at least 16 years old and give us an email address you control. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials and your second factor safe. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access.
If you create an organization, you are responsible for the people you invite to it, and for what they do with the access you give them.
Plans, trials and payment
Individual accounts are free. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, who process the payment; we never see or store your card details. Prices are shown on the pricing page and exclude any tax that may apply to you, which we do not currently collect or remit.
A trial runs for 30 days and requires no card. When it ends, an account that has not subscribed keeps its data and loses the features of the paid tier. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice, and a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
Cancelling, and getting money back
You can cancel at any time from the billing settings in the app. When you cancel, we refund the unused part of the period you have paid for, calculated to the day of cancellation. The refund policy sets that out in full and forms part of these terms.
Acceptable use
Do not use Centers to break the law, to infringe someone's rights, or to store or send malicious code. Do not try to gain access to accounts or systems that are not yours, probe or load-test the service without asking us first, resell access without our agreement, or use automated means to extract data at a scale that degrades the service for other people.
We may suspend an account that is causing harm to the service or to other customers. Where we can do so safely we will tell you first, and we will tell you promptly afterwards if we could not.
Your content stays yours
Everything you put into Centers — your tasks, your notes, your blocks, your schedule — remains yours. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store it, process it, back it up, and show it to the people you have chosen to share it with. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
We do not use your content to train machine learning models, we do not sell it, and we do not send it to our analytics providers. When the in-product assistant acts on your request, the text it needs is sent to our model provider to answer that request and is not retained by us for any other purpose.
Our rights
The software, the design and the name are ours. These terms give you a right to use the service, not a right to copy it. If you send us feedback or a suggestion, we may act on it without owing you anything for it.
Services we depend on
Centers runs on Amazon Web Services, takes payment through Stripe, sends mail through Amazon SES, and — if you connect one — reads your Google Calendar. Those providers have their own terms, and an interruption at one of them can interrupt Centers.
Availability
We work to keep Centers available and we do not promise a particular level of uptime on any current plan. There is no service level agreement attached to these tiers. We may take the service down for maintenance, and we will give notice when we can.
Warranties, and their limits
Centers is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, that a schedule it produces will suit you, or that it will be free of errors.
Centers is a planning tool and not a system of record. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, however caused. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to cover us against claims arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms or of the law, or from content you put into it.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using Centers at any time. We may end or suspend your account if you materially breach these terms and do not put it right within 14 days of us asking, or immediately where the breach is serious or unlawful. After termination you may ask us to export your data, and we will delete it in accordance with the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect, and continuing to use Centers after that date means you accept it. If you do not, you may cancel and take the refund described above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Illinois have exclusive jurisdiction.
