Changelog

What shipped,
week by week.

Every line below is taken from what actually changed in Centers, not written up afterwards. The list starts in September 2026, the week Centers first changed for somebody other than the person building it.

Week of 28 September 2026

  • Keep a deleted task deleted when the read disagrees
  • Add a changelog, read out of what actually shipped
  • Draw a line across today at the current time
  • Start new tasks today, and make Delete ask what it will take
  • Dragging a task onto a task makes it a sub-task
  • Say in the privacy policy how data is protected, and what the assistant sees
  • Stop overlapping work from shrinking into slivers
  • Send people to status.usecenters.com, and say where the fallback is
  • Name the company and the state on the legal pages
  • Give the app a favicon, and link the status page
  • Make each plan's AI allowance its own
  • Refuse throwaway email addresses at sign-up
  • Stop contacting Google before consent, and publish a security.txt
  • Warn people before their trial ends, three times and on every screen
  • Show the real app on the landing page
  • Make sign-up and the schedule usable without a mouse
  • Add a getting-started guide, and a page for the launch
  • Publish the privacy policy, the terms and the refund policy
  • Promise only what a customer can use on the day they pay
  • Teach the first minute, and offer a week to start from

Week of 21 September 2026

  • Say what the product does instead of four figures nobody measured
  • Fix the privacy page answering 404
  • Say what a refresh read from Google, and which conflicts a refresh cannot move
  • Let anyone create an account from the gate
  • Offer the plans on a first sign-in, with a trial that needs no card
  • Call it Assign, and offer it from the outline row
  • Let a resend edit everything the assignment could set
  • Let a password be read back while it is being typed
  • Move "not now" into the occurrence sheet
  • Show the two-factor secret as a QR code
  • Let an admin rename their team
  • Let the schedule hide work that is finished
  • Let the schedule follow the device's time zone
  • Let a task say "if I miss it, let it go"
  • Say who invited you, and to what team
  • Count a chain from completion, or from the scheduled date
  • Keep the password box the width of the field it replaced
  • Give each quota occurrence its own turn in the period
  • Let only the latest member load write the assign panel
  • Head the sheet's deferring choices "Defer", not "Not now"
  • Flag a task's priority on the schedule
